DVC Studios That Sleep Five

By Kristen Tutas / April 5, 2019

The Deluxe Studio — low in points and just the right size for a family of four or less. But what if you have a family of five and don’t want to use more points to upgrade to a larger room size? Say hello to the five-person Studio unit!

These rooms are furnished with 1 queen-size bed, 1 double-size sleeper sofa + 1 single pull-down bed making it perfect for five travelers to stay comfortably in one room. The only downside is this set-up is not offered at every Disney Vacation Club resort.

Polynesian Studio Trundle Bed

As of 2024, there are currently six (6) Disney Vacation Club resorts that sleep up to five people in a Deluxe Studio. If you’re looking to rent points for a stay or purchase an ownership at a resort that has Studios that accommodate up to 5 people, here are your options:

  • Beach Club Villas — starts at 14 points per night
  • Boulder Ridge Villas — starts at 13 points per night
  • Boardwalk Villas — starts at 9 points per night
  • Polynesian Villas — starts at 14 points per night
  • Grand Floridian Villas — starts at 16 points per night
  • Riviera — starts at 14 points per night

Studio units are typically the first to fill-up at the 11 and 7 month booking windows since they require fewer points per night. If you need a five person studio for your travel plans, I strongly advise making one of these resorts your Home Resort and booking at the 11 month priority booking window.

If you have any questions about buying DVC resale or need help deciding which resort to make your “home,” let us know!
