An offer consists of:
- per point price
- confirmation of buyer or seller paying the closing costs (traditionally buyer pays closing costs due to sellers paying sales commission)
- current year's dues reimbursement breakdown (typically, during Right of First Refusal, Disney likes to see buyers contributing towards current year's dues when receiving current year's points)
- No other charges to buyers!
Once we have confirmed receipt of your offer:
We immediately send your offer to the seller. Hopefully, the seller responds quickly to your offer as we are duty bound to present all offers until the seller has accepted an offer or until a full price offer has come in. If a full price offer comes in before the seller has responded to your offer, then you will be notified that the listing is no longer available.
Your Disney Vacation Club points purchased on resale can be used for accommodations at the 13 DVC resorts, as well as for RCI exchanges, Club Cordial and Club Intrawest. Members who purchase from anyone other than Disney, on or after March 21, 2011, are not eligible to use their DVC points to make reservations in the Concierge Collection, the Disney Collection or the Adventurer Collection.
